Lower carbon footprint in 2023.

We have calculated the carbon footprint for our anodised aluminium columns, considering data from 2023.

Obtaining this information is an important determinant in our ecological strategy aimed at achieving closed-circuit production.

We compared obtained data with carbon footprint of steel columns. To determine the emissions generated during the production of steel columns, we used emission factors from the Ecoinvent 3.6 database. The scope of calculations covers the entire lifespan of the column - from its production, through transport, to its disposal.

The results show that the production of one anodised aluminium column produces approximately 54% less CO2 than the production of one galvanized steel column. In 2022, it was around 38%. Over the course of the year, we achieved a 16% improvement.

The study was conducted by ROSA employees in accordance with the methodology developed by Bureau Veritas Polska for the previous carbon footprint settlement period - consistent with The GHG Protocol Product Life Cycle Accounting and Reporting Standard.
