ROSA anodised aluminium products are characterised by significantly increased corrosion protection parameters compared to untreated aluminium products.
We anodise columns, extension arms, lighting sets, luminaire housings and components.

Technical Approval
The corrosion resistance of not less than 50 years of ROSA anodised aluminium columns is confirmed by a Technical Approval issued by an expert of the Independent Association of Polish Mechanical Engineers and Technicians
A period of fifty years is the maximum time for which the Approval can be obtained, after this time the anodised aluminium retains its strength and anti-corrosion properties.

To illustrate the longevity of our columns, we conducted a series of tests in the laboratory. The aim was to determine how our products behaved in conditions simulating long-term exposure to external factors, including corrosion and other potentially degrading phenomena. Below you will find some of the tests:
Aging chamber test

We conducted UV resistance tests on the anodised coatings. Samples of anodised aluminium, cut from our columns in the colours: Inox, Green and Olive, were tested in the aging chamber. The test samples were exposed to high-energy ultraviolet light for 14,600 hours which corresponds to 20 years of service life of the column in moderate climate conditions, and then compared with reference samples.

The test results confirmed that UV rays do not affect the coating and do not affect the colour of the anodising.
Salt chamber test

We also carried out a corrosion test using the NSS (neutral salt spray) method. This test consisted of placing the anodised aluminium column in a salt chamber for 4,000 hours under controlled conditions using 5% sodium chloride at a temperature of 35°C, in accordance with EN ISO 9227.

After completing the tests, half of the column made of anodised aluminium was subjected to additional cleaning to assess the possibility of removing the layer of deposits formed during the test.
